You will visit a giant made of steel, the conveyer bridge F60 or also known as the Lusatia’s Lying Eiffel Tower. This giant is 502 metres long, 204 metres wide, 80 metres high
and weighs 11,000 tonnes. The conveyor bridge tells the interesting story of the past and future of open-cast lignite mining in Lusatia. During a tour of the conveyor bridge
you will gain an insight into the working world. From the very top, at a height of 74 metres, you have a beautiful view over the open-cast mining region of Lusatia and Lake Bergheide. The bus then takes you to Finsterwalde,
where you can take a stroll through the town before the train leaves for Berlin.
Sturdy shoes are recommended!
