Zoo station was considered the main station for the western part of Berlin. Since 2006, only regional trains stop at the station. Today, the steam train departs from here. The city tour continues along the Avus,
through the Grunewald forest to Wannsee and on to Potsdam. Along Potsdam’s Havel lakes and at Seddin shunting yard, the train reaches Berlin’s southern outer ring. After the train has passed the Grünauer Kreuz
it passes the Schöneweide depot, the home of Berlin macht Dampf. The train then travels along the Südring, past Tempelhof airfield and parallel to the S-Bahn to Grundewald.
After a short stop at Grunewald station with a change of direction, the tour returns to Zoo station. The tour ends there.
We wish you a pleasant trip!
