Today is the open day at Piko in Sonneberg. For the 10th time, the factory gates will open for a folk festival of model railways. More special trains from Leipzig and Nördlingen are expected there.
This guarantees a steam locomotive atmosphere on a scale of 1:1. The special train will travel via Leipzig, through the Saale valley and over the legendary Frankenwald ramp. Arriving in Pressig-Rothenkirchen, you will have to change trains. From Pressig-Rothenkirchen, a bus will take you the last 10 kilometres to the
kilometres directly to the Piko factory. Here you can marvel at the world of model railways in H0, TT and G gauge. The train will arrive late in Berlin.
