As every year, the Hanse Sail takes place in Rostock on the second weekend in August. During the Hanse Sail 250 traditional sailing ships, museum steamers and guest ships pass the Warnemünde pier.
The thick icebreaker Stettin or the slender Hydrograaf are among them. Furthermore, you can marvel at full-rigged ships, barquentines, brigs and schooners with a total area of 60,000 square metres.
On the strolling streets you can get in touch with the traditional ships and their crews and ride the Ferris wheel or eat rollmops. Anyone interested in shipping is in the right place here.
We wish you a good trip!
